What's the best way to clean my bottle?
While the bottle and cap are generally considered dishwasher safe, it's still best to hand wash your bottle using a mild detergent and allow it to rack dry between uses.
Can I put my bottle in the freezer?
Your Smith Creek vacuum flask should never be placed in the freezer. If you want to keep your beverages cold longer, add a little ice when you first fill your bottle. Never place the bottle in a microwave oven.
Is the finish scratch proof?
Smith Creek's vacuum flask is made from 304 steel with a powder coated finish. Powder coating has good resistance to everyday wear and tear; however, it still can be damaged if for example it is dropped onto, or dragged across a rocky surface. Minor scratches and scuffs will not impact the container's insulation performance.
How long is the warranty?
Smith Creek's vacuum flask is backed by a 3 Year warranty for parts and workmanship. If during this period your water bottle is found to be defective, please contact us at support@smithcreek.co (please have your original purchase receipt ready if possible). The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage from everyday use, nor damage due to severe impact or abuse.
